International Picnic Day Necessities with Sparkling Ice
Did you know what International Picnic Day is June 18th?
We’ve already showed you how to throw an awesome picnic in this post, but now we are sharing a few more tips from Sparkling Ice.
A great picnic isn’t complete without some yummy, cool, and delicious frozen treats to help set the mood and keep you chill.
Sparkling Ice offers fruity waters without all of the calories. They are also great in recipes and cocktails.
Here’s a few Sparking Ice goodies to help you celebrate International Picnic Day.
Sparkling Cherry Champagne Pops
1 bottle Sparkling Ice Black Raspberry
1 bottle champagne or sparkling wine
1 container of fresh raspberries, chopped
Fill your trays or molds with half Sparkling Ice and half champagne, topping each with a scoop of chopped raspberries. If using ice cube trays cover tray tightly with tin foil. Poke a popsicle stick through the foil into each cube. If using an ice pop maker place the handle sticks into the molds. Place in the freezer for about 2 hours or until frozen. This recipe works with any of your favorite Sparkling Ice flavors and fresh fruit. Enjoy!
Pining For Pineapple
1.5 oz white rum
3 oz of pineapple juice
Sparkling Ice Coconut Pineapple
Add white rum and pineapple juice to shaker. Add ice. Stir and strain into chilled Old Fashioned glass. Top with Sparkling Ice Coconut Pineapple. Garnish with pinch of nutmeg.
Blackberry Lemon Smash
1.5 oz of white rum
1.5 oz of vodka
8 oz Sparkling Ice Lemon Lime
Add blackberries and vodka to shaker. Muddle. Add rum and ice. Shake and strain into a chilled pint glass over ice. Fill with Sparkling Ice Lemon Lime.
